It is with great sadness that our family is announcing the death of Charles John Crisafi (Charlie). He passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 peacefully, at home, with his family in Georgia. He was 83 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Michael; nephew Eddie and grand-dog, Otis.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kate; his children, Kathy and husband Mike, Chuck, Gina and husband Jerry: seven grandchildren, Celia, Jerry, Michael, Natalie, Juliette, Vincent and Anthony: his twin brother Joe: sister-in-law Barbara; brother-in-law Roy and wife Barbara and many nieces and nephews.

Charlie was born on November 11, 1938 to Leon and Josephine Crisafi of Maple Shade, New Jersey. Charlie grew up in Maple Shade and at the age of eighteen joined the Marines where he served in the Philippines. Several years after returning home, he married Kate and they started their family and began their lifelong journey together.

He spent many years working on his dream of writing and producing movies, songs and poetry. He was always looking for a new undertaking or invention to be involved in and loved advising those around him of his thoughts of best practices. He kept everyone entertained and was always a good sport through the endless amounts of teasing he received. Although he never had any buildings or monuments erected in his honor, he DID have the chance to know and love many friends and family over the years.

A small service will be held in his honor at Georgia National Cemetery on June 6, 2022 at 11:15 a.m.
